Established in 2016, Berry Farms NZ is owned by RD8 Group and is a leading grower of Driscoll’s berries in Hawkes Bay. A strong advocate of innovative farming practices, their premium strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and raspberries are grown in tunnels in substrate, ensuring a consistent supply with outstanding longevity right through spring, summer and autumn.
Sunrise Berries is a NZ owned and operated business, located 20mins from Pukekohe and 45mins from Central Auckland. We grow the finest strawberries and raspberries for the local and export markets.
Sunrise Berries was established in 2019 as a medium scale berry producer, growing strawberries and raspberries hydroponically under plastic covered tunnels, with the intention of producing quality fruit across an extended seasonal window.
With the intention of growing all four berry crops in the future. Sunrise Berries is well positioned with location, land, water and infrastructure to capitalise on the fresh berry category development.
Monavale Blueberries has been growing organic blueberries since 1985 and is New Zealand’s largest BioGro certified organic blueberry orchard, with over 50 acres of fully certified crop. Family owned and operated, Monavale is nestled on the Moanatuatua Plains, in the heart of the Mighty Waikato.
Oakberry Farms Ltd was established in 1997 and is a Hamilton based grower/packer of blueberries, with varieties ranging from de novo and southern highbush in substrate, through northern high bush and rabbit eye. Their harvest season currently stretches from the beginning of September to the end of May. Oakberry Farms packs around 70% for export and 30% to New Zealand customers.
